LAND WITHOUT WORDS

a play by Dea Loher at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art

Land Without Words follows one painter’s journey into ‘K’, an enigmatic city in the Middle East, where raw violence and never ending warfare is the norm. Denied the comfortable distance of the western spectator, the unnamed artist begins to question the purpose and duty of art in the face of such horrific human suffering.

Written by multi-award winning German playwright Dea Loher, the play is an unforgettable parable of war, creativity and perception.

Land Without Words was Darius Lukas' final showcase at LAMDA, where he completed a degree in Theatre Directing.
